Illustration Friday - Packed

I’ve not been able to do Illustration Friday of late, because I’ve been working on this here ole Monster Commute comic strip. (And enjoying myself, even!)
But, this week’s theme of “Packed” made me immediately think of the highways of Phoenix, Arizona (and by extension the monster world of Monstru).
So, here’s a “Packed” highway of my monster world:

I’m in awe of the motion in this & spatial mastery, also I can imagine the goofy soundtrack, it is making me think of a youtube animation called last time in Clerkenwell, The Real Tuesday Weld does the music for it.

We go to Scottsdale pretty frequently, so I know the traffic you speak of. I don’t think I’d mind, though, if all the cars were as crazy-fantastic as these. Wonderful! By the way, watch out for people with tons of bumper stickers. Turns out, there’s a correlation between number of bumper stickers (’I heart Jesus’ ones included) and likelihood of roadrage.
